Directions
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray three 8-inch round cake pans with non-fat cooking spray and set aside.
2 In a medium-sized bowl, beat cake mix, water, applesauce, and egg whites with a wire whisk or large spoon for 1 minute. Pour into prepared pans.
3 Bake at 350 degrees for 16 to 18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
4 Three small individual cakes. Leave cakes in pan. Divide and spread cherry pie filling on top of the 3 cakes. Drizzle syrup on top. Cut each cake into 8 pieces.
