1 cooking spray
6 tbsp Margarine, hard , at room temperature (trans fat free)
0.75 cup packed dark brown sugar (or substitute part with brown sugar substitute)
2 egg whites (large)
0.25 cup molasses
1.25 cup white all purpose flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
0.25 cup Milk, nonfat/skim, dry
0.75 tsp low sodium baking powder
0.75 tsp baking soda
0.75 tsp ground ginger
0.5 tsp ground cinnamon
0.5 tsp ground nutmeg
0.12 tsp ground cloves
0.25 cup chopped walnuts , finely

Directions
1 Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and spray a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
2 In a large bowl, at medium speed, beat the margarine until creamy.
3 Add the brown sugar and beat at high speed for 1 to 2 minutes.
4 Beat in the egg whites, then add the molasses, and beat until no lumps remain.
5 In a separate bowl, sift together all remaining ingredients except for the nuts.
6 Stir the sifted ingredients into the margarine mixture and blend well.
7 Stir in the nuts (the dough will be sticky).
