Ingredients
3 tbsp brown sugar
0.25 cup Ketchup
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp light soy sauce
1 tbsp cider vinegar
1 tsp fresh ginger root , grated
0.25 tsp hot red pepper flakes
8 Chicken, broiler/fryer, drumstick, with o skin, raw , rinsed and pat dry (skin can stay on)
1 cooking spray


Directions
1 Preheat the broiler.
2 Mix the sugar, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, vinegar, ginger root, and red pepper flakes in a bowl. Set aside 1/4 cup of the mixture in a separate bowl.
3 Spray a broiler rack and pan with the cooking spray, add the chicken, and broil for 12 minutes or until the chicken is no longer pink in the middle. Turn and baste with the sauce occasionally.
4 Take out of the broiler and pour the 1/4 cup of mixture on top. Serve immediately.
Additional Information
Try with 1/2 cup steamed broccoli and 1/3 cup blanched carrots on the side.
