Ingredients
28 oz whole trout , 4 whole trout
1 tbsp olive oil
0.5 small onions , peeled and finely diced
1 medium garlic cloves , peeled and minced
1 pinch salt (to taste)
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice , or more to taste
0.5 tsp ground ginger
1 tbsp pickled ginger , for garnish (or thin slices of lemon)


Directions
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2 Arrange fish in a glass baking dish. Heat oil in a small saucepan.
3 Add remaining ingredients and simmer for 5 minutes.
4 Pour over fish. Bake for 20 minutes or until fish flakes.
Additional Information
Before serving, the baked fish can be placed under the broiler for 3 minutes. This will make it nice and crispy and enhance the flavors.
