Ingredients
4 piece raw bacon slices , diced
0.25 cup fresh chopped onion
2 tbsp white all purpose flour
1 lb Cheese Product, pasteurized, processed, light , cubed (Velveeta is preferred)
2 cup Sour Cream (approximately 16 oz.)
1 whole jalapeno pepper , seeded and chopped (optional)
1 lb French bread baguette , cubed (approximately 1 loaf)


Directions
1 Crisp bacon in a frying pan over medium heat. Using a slotted spoon, move bacon to paper towels to drain.
2 Saute onion in bacon grease until soft. Mix in flour and cook until thick.
3 Lower heat to low and mix in cheese and cook until melted. Add in sour cream, pepper, and bacon. Cook until fully heated and combined.
4 Spoon mixture into a fondue pot to keep warm. Serve with bread cubes.
Additional Information
Try using different varieties of cheese, but make sure it melts well.
