Ingredients
1 butter flavored cooking spray
8 oz fresh asparagus , woody ends removed
1.5 tbsp bread crumbs , fine, fresh
1 tsp fresh lemon peel , grated
0.5 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 pinch black pepper
1 medium garlic cloves , minced


Directions
1 Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F. Spray a nonstick baking pan with the cooking spray.
2 Set the asparagus on the pan and spray with the cooking spray on all sides. Bake for about 8 to 10 minutes.
3 Mix together the bread crumbs, lemon zest, lemon juice, pepper, and garlic and place on a baking sheet. Toast for about 1 to 2 minutes in a toaster oven.
4 Divide the asparagus onto two plates and top with the toasted bread crumb mixture.
Additional Information
Use pepper as desired but try not to add any salt. If extra flavor is needed try serving with a slice of lemon.
