Servings
Ingredients
1 cup fresh chopped onion (use a sweet onion like Vidalia)
2 medium garlic cloves , minced
3 tbsp Butter, unsalted
1 lb fresh asparagus , trimmed
0.25 tsp black pepper
16 oz Rolls Dough, crescent, refrigerated (2-8 ounce tubes)
1 cup part skim shredded mozzarella (4 ounces)
1 cup Cheese, Swiss, shredded (4 ounces)

Directions
1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2 Saute onion and garlic in butter 4 to 5 minutes over medium heat, until soft.
3 Slice asparagus into 1-inch pieces and save tips. Saute the rest of the asparagus in pan with pepper 1 to 2 minutes or until tender.
4 Spread dough into a 15 x 10-inch baking pan; seal seams together. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes. Spoon asparagus mixture over dough and top with cheeses. Bake another 6 to 8 minutes or until cheeses are melted. Slice into squares.
Additional Information
For variety, saute mushrooms instead of asparagus with the onions and garlic.
