Ingredients
1 cup mirin (sweet Japanese cooking wine)
1 tsp ground ginger
1 serrano chili peppers , minced
1 tsp minced garlic
2 fresh green onions , sliced
1 cup Beer, light
0.5 cup low sodium soy sauce
0.5 cup fresh cilantro , if desired
1.5 lb beef tenderloin fillet , cut into 6 (4-ounce) fillets


Directions
1 In shallow dish, combine mirin, ginger, serrano chili, garlic, green onions, beer, soy sauce, and cilantro.
2 Add the fillets, turn to coat well. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours.
3 Preheat grill or skillet.
4 Cook 5 to 10 minutes on each side, depending on preference of doneness. Serve immediately.
