Ingredients
1 tsp vegetable oil
0.5 lb Pea Pods, Chinese snow, fresh, whole
1.5 cup red bell peppers, sliced , julienne style
8 oz sliced water chestnuts , drained (1 can)
0.25 cup cold water
1 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
1 tsp sugar
0.5 tsp cornstarch
0.25 tsp Broth, chicken, dehydrated (granules)
1 pepper, black, dash
1 tsp sesame seeds , toasted


Directions
1 Spray a wok with nonstick cooking spray, add oil and heat over medium high heat until very hot, about 2 minutes.
2 Add the peas, peppers, and water chestnuts, sautee until tender yet crisp, about 3 - 5 minutes.
3 In a separate cup or small bowl, mix the water, soy sauce, sugar, cornstarch, bouillon and pepper.
4 Slowly add to wok, cook until thickened, about 1 minute. Stir constantly.
5 Place on a serving dish and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Additional Information
This is a great side dish but you can also make it a complete meal by adding in cubed boneless, skinless chicken breasts or purchase already cooked grilled chicken and add for a quick dinner.
