Ingredients
1 cup white all purpose flour
0.67 cup Cereal, All-Bran Buds
0.5 cup old fashioned rolled oats
0.33 cup brown sugar
0.5 tsp salt
0.5 tsp baking soda
1 tsp low sodium baking powder
1 tsp ground cinnamon
0.25 tsp ground cloves (or nutmeg)
0.5 cup Margarine, hard , at room temperature
2 egg whites , at room temperature
1 tsp vanilla extract
0.5 cup sweetener (sugar substitute)
0.33 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup unsweetened applesauce , at room temperature


Directions
1 Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2 Mix together all the dry ingredients at low speed for 1 minute.
3 Add margarine, egg whites, vanilla, sugar substitute, nuts, and applesauce to the flour mixture.
4 Mix at medium speed for 30 seconds.
5 Spread mixture in a 9 X 13 greased cake pan and bake for 25 - 30 minutes.
6 Cut into 15 squares and serve warm.
