Servings
Ingredients
8 cup chopped apples , peeled and sliced
0.5 cup apple cider (or apple juice)
0.25 cup SPLENDA® No Calorie Sweetener, granulated
0.12 tsp ground nutmeg
0.25 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions
1 Mix together the apple and apple cider in a saucepan. Bring just to a boil, stirring often, and then decrease the heat. Simmer, covered, for about 20 minutes, stirring infrequently.
2 Stir in the Splenda and nutmeg. Cook, stirring continuously, until the Splenda dissolves.
3 Using a potato masher, mash the mixture until it is slightly chunky.
4 Refrigerate, covered, until completely chilled. Sprinkle the cinnamon on top.
Additional Information
Best if you use a potato masher, but you can use a fork instead.
