Directions
1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2 Whisk together applesauce, egg whites, and jelly in a large bowl. Mix together all dry ingredients (oats through cloves) and slowly stir into applesauce mixture. Mix in raisins, dates, walnuts, orange and lemon juices, and vanilla and combine well.
3 Spoon 1 tablespoon of mixture onto greased cookie sheets, making sure they are at least 2 inches apart. Press down gently to squash. Bake for 12 minutes or until cooked completely, edges will be slightly browned. Transfer to cooling racks and let cool.
Additional Information
Substitute ingredients as you see fit, almonds for walnuts, cranberries for raisins, etc. There are a lot of tasty combinations that can be made.
