Servings
Ingredients
1 Gelatin, cherry, sugar free, dry mix, serving (1-4 serving package)
1 cup cold water , boiling
1 cup Cherries, sweet, frozen , dark, halved
0.75 cup cold water
1 medium apples , finely chopped
0.33 cup fresh chopped celery
0.25 cup chopped walnuts (or pecans)

Directions
1 In large bowl, completely dissolve gelatin in boiling water.
2 Add cherries and cold water. Stir for 1-2 minutes until cherries thaw.
3 Refrigerate for 45 minutes until the mixture is the consistency of raw egg whites.
4 Fold in apples, celery, and nuts. Pour the mixture into 1-quart mold or bowl.
5 Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 6 hours until gelatin is firm.
6 Unmold the salad onto plate or serve from the bowl.
7 To unmold salad, dip mold in warm water for a few seconds to loosen edges. Center a plate upside-down over the mold and invert the molded salad onto plate. Jiggle the mold gently until salad loosens, then lift the mold off carefully. If salad doesn't release from mold the first time, repeat this step.
