A classic dessert of apple crisp with a surprising twist of added peanut butter chips.

Servings

0.33 cup Baking Chips, peanut butter, confectioner's coating candy
0.25 cup sugar
0.33 cup white all purpose flour
2 tbsp white all purpose flour
1 cup quick cooking rolled oats
0.33 cup packed brown sugar
0.25 cup margarine
0.5 tsp ground cinnamon

1 Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2 Spray a 9-inch square baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
3 Make the fruit layer by mixing together the apples, peanut butter chips, sugar, and 2 tablespoons of flour in a large bowl.
4 Spread in the baking pan.
5 Mix the oats, 1/3 cup of flour, brown sugar, margarine, and cinnamon in a bowl until crumbly.
6 Spread over the apple layer in the baking pan.
7 Bake until apples are tender, about 45 minutes.
8 Cut into 9 squares and serve while still warm.

Substitute the peanut butter chips for chocolate chips.
