Ingredients
1 tbsp sugar
0.5 cup apple cider
2 oz applejack brandy
1.25 cup low fat unsalted chicken broth
1 tsp fresh lemon juice
0.5 tsp salt
0.25 tsp ground nutmeg
2 tbsp cold water
1.5 tbsp cornstarch


Directions
1 Heat sugar in a pot and heat over medium heat until sugar is lightly browned, do not stir. Mix in turkey drippings, lemon juice, salt, and nutmeg.
2 Pour in cider, stirring continually. Mix in applejack and cook 1 minute.
3 Whisk together water and cornstarch and whisk into mixture. Let gravy boil and cook 1 minute stirring continually.
Additional Information
This can be prepared up to one day in advance and kept covered and chilled.
