Servings
Ingredients
0.75 cup sugar (or sugar substitute)
0.75 cup cold water
1.5 cup fresh lime juice
1 cup tequila, 80 proof
0.75 cup orange juice
0.5 cup amaretto
1 medium limes , cut into 8 slices (for garnish, optional)

Directions
1 Add 3/4 cup sugar and water to a pot and let boil. Lower heat and simmer 5 minutes until all the sugar is dissolved. Take pot off of heat and let fully cool. Mix in lime juice.
2 Mix sugar mixture with tequila, orange juice, and amaretto. Pour in a pitcher and serve over ice. Garnish each glass with lime slices.
Additional Information
To reduce carbs, use a sugar substitute such as Splenda granular, and replace one-third of the orange juice with water. Also, you can prepare this in a blender for a frozen concoction.
