All the meters on the market are FDA approved. Technology is not perfect, so they are allowed up to a 20% range. That means if you ck your BS it will not be exactly the same meter to meter or even if you ck on the same meter one test right after another. Having a meter in all the convenient locations to facilitate monitoring is a great idea. As long as you be sure the meter is correctly coded, the strips are not outdated, fingers are clean and you test using the correct technique your numbers will be consistent and accurate so you can make good decisions about your treatment plan. Testing is a tool - test don't guess! Thanks for using dLife as a member of your health care team.
