My dr. has required me to eat <120g of carbs a day. I'm 200#, (losing wt) 5'10

Congrats on your weight loss! Although you have been cutting back on carbs, you may not have controlled your total calorie intake. Proteins and fats also contain calories.

As you lose weight, your caloric need is reduced. There is less of you. Weight loss slows down or plateaus with the same caloric intake.

What to do? Consider talking with a registered dietitian who specializes in diabetes care. He or she can evaluate your total food intake to determine your nutritional needs. Together with you, establish a personal eating plan to help with both blood glucose and weight control.
