Is RX Benicar contraindicated for type 2 diabetics? I take Benicar 40mg daily for hypertension .For diabetes I take Glipizide 10MG daily and Bydureon

Benicar is a blood pressure medicine. It may increase your blood glucose (sugar). When you take this medicine, check your blood glucose levels frequently. Should your blood glucose goes up, talk with your doctor about how best to adjust the dose of your diabetes medicine.
