There is a device that allows a user to insert a KwikPin into it and it inserts the needle and then the insulin into the skin but I can't find it.

Thanks for asking dLife.

The Humalog KwikPen is a disposable insulin delivery device. I wonder if you are thinking of the Outer Needle Shield; this is used to recap the needle after its use before disposal. There is also an Inner Needle Shield that covers the needle itself.

The Lilly Company posted detailed directions with pictures for using a KwikPen for insulin delivery!

If you have any questions or problems with your Humalog KwikPen, do not hesitate to contact Lilly at 1-800-Lilly-Rx (1-800-545-5979). Their consumer service department is very friendly.

Take care.
