Thanks for asking dLife.

MI-Acid is often used to treat GERD - acid reflex or heartburn. According to my sources, there are no reported interactions between MI-Acid, fiber lax, and metformin.

This does not necessarily mean that your husband will not experience any interactions. Although each medication has its own unique side-effects, all three medicines are associated with stomach upset. Everyone respond differently to different medicines, and at different times, especially when medicines are taken in combination.

Pay close attention to any unusual symptoms. Write down the details as to what type of symptoms, when they occur, how often, how severe, and for how long the symptoms last. Report these symptoms as well as blood glucose (sugar) readings to the doctor.

Take care.
