Hello,

Thanks for asking dLife.

Further weight after blood glucose has been well-controlled indicates that you are not receiving enough calories to maintain your weight. What is your weight goal?

I recommend that you work with a registered dietitian in establishing an individualized meal and exercise plan to control blood glucose as well as body weight. You will learn how much foods, especially carbohydrates, you can eat and still maintain target blood glucose. You will be better able to select nutrient-dense foods for maintaining a healthy body weight. It is important that your meals be nutritional balanced for optimal health.

In the meantime, read up on Using an RD/CDE!

Take care.
