And it helps even more taken with vitamin b-1. Could this be true, i guess we all want to believe so much that we fool ourselves.I am 59 yrs. old and for about a year i've now feel how bad it can hurt. Looking forward to your answers, p.s. he also said it helps the kidneys. thanks

Thank you for bringing your concern to dLife. I had to look up this product on the Web to read about it and of course what I found was written by the developer so it was only giving his opinion. The product has mega doses of vitamin B1, B12, B6. It also has Alpha Lipoic acid and some natural extracts. The developer gives himself rave reviews. The Vitamin B complexes are known to support nerve cells. I am always concerned about doses above the ADA recommended amounts. My opinion on any "natural" extracts is that they are not tested or regulated so therfore I am leary of their efficacy. I suggest discussing this product with your doctor. If you choose to try it, please have routine labs done before you starting the product and have labs done every 3 months thereafter to be sure you are not having any ill effects.

I am a 63 year old long term type 2 diabetic & effectively manage my diabetes through lifestyle & what I call "kitchen medicine". I take no prescription drugs. I eat a plant based diet, watch my fat intake & take specific supplements which I have researched as much as possible. Food as well as supplements are my medicine combined with regular exercise. When it comes to supplements, I do not take ready made formulas. Often these are very high priced & if you look at the ingredients, you can often buy them individually much cheaper yourself from places like Swanson Health Products or Puritan's Pride Vitamins. Research supplements first by looking at the reasoning as to why they could be beneficial. Carefully read any studies that have been done regarding their effectiveness & possible side effects. Research multiple sources of information & compare findings. Self management through exercise, diet & supplements must be consistently practiced & can take a long time to produce results if any are produced at all. I believe that I have done well, but I was not an overnight success. I have been doing this for several years now & my health has improved over time. I've been treated for diabetic retinopathy & macular edema. Both of my eyes have not only been stable for over 2 years but my vision has also significantly improved. I've experienced tingly feet & hands, but that has also improved & I was able to bring my potassium level down to normal. I believe that lifestyle & kitchen medicine helped me accomplish this. Although low income & lack of health insurance was my original motive for turning this into a do-it-yourself project, I am now a firm believer in kitchen medicine/lifestyle as the first line of defense in maintaining good health. Knowledge is power and practicing what you know makes it work. Check into benfotiamine. It may help block AGE's (advanced glycation end products) & protect capillaries & nerve cells. I take it. Swanson often has it on sale.
