Hello stephen892
In researching Banaba tea, there are articles that report that this extract decreases glucose levels. Asian cultures are known to use this " natural remedy" As a nurse, I must state that I do not endorse using this or any natural remedies. These " health supplements" are not tested or regulated. They may interact with other medications. They may cause serious side effects.

I strongly recommend following a healthy diet of high fiber complex carbohydrates, lean proteins and reduced fats. Exercise daily. See your provider and get updated labs. Read more about managing your diabetes and be proactive with your care. dLife has much information about healthy living. There is information on supplements that may help diabetics. Click here to read it.

Although I do not recommend this natural remedy, I feel very strongly that knowing more about this will help you make up your own mind and ask more questions. Here is a site I found on the subject. Click here to read it.

Good luck!
