Dear shiz616 Insulin will not affect your partner. It is important to test your blood glucose levels while taking insulin in order to prevent a low blood glucose reaction. This could occur during sexual intercourse. I don't know if you have ever experienced a low blood glucose reaction - shakiness, confusion, sweating, hunger, which needs to be treated with a fast acting sugar such as glucose tablets, 4 oz of orange juice. Insulin should not affect your medications. Talk to your pharmacist about any interactions among your medications.
