Thanks for asking dLife.

Although garcinia has been promoted for weight loss, the reports are unclear. More evidence is needed to determine its benefits, if any.

Long-term safety of garcinia is not known. It has been reported to cause nausea, digestive tract discomfort, and headache.

Keep in mind that natural products are not always necessarily safe. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) does not strictly regulate herbs and supplements. There is no guarantee of strength, purity or safety of products, and the effects may vary.

Talk with your doctor about your blood glucose control. He or she can review your treatment plan and make the appropriate adjustments to help you bring your blood glucose to target range.

Read about garcinia.

Take care.

I got some garcinia to try several months ago. Usually I can keep my glucose readings under about 150 but when I started taking the garcinia they went up toward the 180s and were reluctant to come down. I gave up after about 2 days as I was concerned that the stuff would build up in my system and cause more difficulty.
