Dear meemawcrochets ,

Thank you for writing dLife,

It is not uncommon for someone with type 2 diabetes, who has changed their lifestyle to no longer require medication, to maintain blood glucose levels in the normal range. Lifestyle changes include becoming physically active, losing weight and following a healthy diet.

Your blood glucose levels indicate that you are doing an excellent job with lifestyle changes

You are not experiencing low blood sugar because you are no longer receiving diabetes medications.

Keep up the good work!

What does your Endocrinologist have to say? If he's fine with what you're doing then keep it up. An A1C of 5.7 from my understanding is non-diabetic.
