There are several contraindications to the use of Byetta, some of which your prescribing physician should be aware, cautions to the use of Byetta include: if you have had an allergic reaction to any of the other ingredient in byetta or extenditide. Mild to moderate to severe allergic reactions can take many forms, reactions of swelling, rash, itching, or other abnormal irritations. Tell your healthcare provider if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant, it is not known if BYETTA will harm an unborn baby. Talk to your healthcare provider first if you are breastfeeding or plan to breastfeed. The most common side effects with BYETTA include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, headache, feeling jittery, and acid stomach.
