Hello,

Thanks for asking dLife.

V8 Fusion is a blend of fruit and vegetable juices: The Strawberry Banana V8 Fusion contains the juice of these 10 vegetables and fruits: sweet potatoes, carrots, tomatoes, beets, white grapes, oranges, apples, strawberries, bananas, banana puree.

The nutritive content varies with different juice blends. Each 8 ounce serving contains about 30 grams of carbohydrate at approximately 120 calories. It contains 1 gram of protein and no fat. I am unable to locate the nutritive content of the V8 Fusion Light version. I would expect the light version to contain fewer grams of carbohydrates and be lower in calories.

People with diabetes are encouraged to eat their fruits and vegetables, rather than drink them. We often recommend saving juices for treating a low blood glucose (hypoglycemia).

Take care.

I think V8 Fusion is a good product. I use it when my sugar is low or when I,m having a reaction. I call it special juice and offer it to my grandkids when they come over. taffyn
