"Sometimes I heat up from the inside out. My clothes actually smell like they are being ironed. What does that mean?"

Type 2 diabetes, Januava, Metformin, Actos all taken for control.I'm currently 55 years old without a uterus.

Thanks for writing dLife. Your symptoms can be related to different hormonal issues and discussing this with a physician, who would be looking at all aspects of your health is very important. If you are being treated with hormone therapy, this may need adjustment. Blood sugar fluctuations and control can also affect the nerves that may control body heat regulation/sensation and testing your blood sugar levels as prescribed may also offer some clues as to what is happening. Be sure to write down the specific signs/symptoms and times of day when you are experiencing this phenomenon as this may be very helpful to your health care providers in finding out how to help you as best as possible.
