Thanks for writing dLife. It is not unusual for those with hormone related medical issues to experience changes in sleeping. Certainly during the night, even without diabetes or thyroid problems, hormones naturally fluctuate as part of our normal physiology. With diabetes, blood glucose changes can cause sweating and other nervous system symptoms that would be related to what you are describing. Be sure to discuss this with your physician- you may be advised to test your blood glucose levels during the night to see if there is a pattern of low or high levels outside of normal range and medications for diabetes as well as for your thyroid may need adjustment.
