Hello Brendala
I am not sure of the numbers you listed in your question. Do you mean that you have a blood glucose level of 342mg/dl after a 12 hour fasting period? If so, you certainly have diabetes. I know it can take some time to get seen by a specialist but once you are a patient of that doctor, you will be able to schedule regular visits. In the meanwhile. I encourage you to continue seeing the dietitian, walking daily and seeing your primary doctor. Your family doctor should be able to prescribe medicines to get you in a safer range until you see the specialist. Cut your portion sizes down and try to eat more frequently to avoid hunger. Drink plenty of water. There is much to learn, but you have already made great strides. Dlife will give you much information in your self-management of this disease. Look at the recipes, the exercises and get support from your peers on dLife blogs and forums. You will loose weight and gain control of your glucose levels with steady good eating and exercising habits. Good luck!
