Hello foxydoxie
I reviewed the medication side effects and it does not directly indicate that glucose levels could go up but it did discuss high risk of pancreatitis. This would effect glucose levels very much. Also this medication works thru the hepatic system therfore you liver function could be effected. Any medication that changes the way your liver works will effect glucose levels. This would be compounded if also on a statin. Be aware of any muscle pain weakness or dark urine. Report any change in glucose control when starting this or any new medication.
