I applaude your self-management of exercise and close monitoring of your glucose levels. Be sure to have a fast acting carbohydrate source with you whenever you are exercising. Wear a medic alert bracelet and talk to the staff where you exercise about your possible low blood sugars from exercise.
Everyone experiences symtoms of low blood sugar at different levels. Because you are exercising in water, there is added risk.
I do not know your eating pattern or your current BMI. Are you new to diabetes? Please monitor your glucose frequently and do not risk drowning. There are other forms of exercise to consider until you are more stable.
