"Why does oat meal raise my blood sugar. I eat it with nothing on it, just plain and my levels spike to way over 230"

I eat it in the morning with noting on it, just plain and my levels spike to way over 230. If I eat cherios with low fat milk my levels go to about 150.

Oatmeal always raises me that is why I eat it maybe once a month or two.
