"I am type one diabetic have a 7.7 a1c, every time I check sugars they are 80-140, but I FEEL EXTEME FATIGUE AND HEAVY EYES IN THE MORNING"

I have been diabetic since I was 4 and I AM NOW 32, SUGARS FLUCTUATE FROM 80-140, i USE APEDRA AND i am on the pump.

Well, a 7.7% is overall good and the numbers you report are in a good target range. I would recommend that you speak with your doctor about the symptoms you report such as fatigue and heavy eyes upon waking. Not sure that this is related to diabetes at all. So, you need an evaluation by your healthcare provider to rule out any association as well as possible other causes. Higher blood sugars can lead to fatigue but if you are waking up 80-140 this wouldn't correlate.

You may want to try waking up during the night for a couple of nights to test your BG. I have often found that if I feel bad in the morning I have been going low or high during the night, even if I am back to normal by the time I wake up.
