"My 7 year old daughter's blood sugar an hour and a half after breakfast was 136 while having trmors, weekyness, and tiredness. should I be concerned?"

Dear desireeb, Having symptoms of weakness, tremors, and tiredness sounds like you should be taking your daughter to see a doctor, not write into an advice column. You can't diagnose your daughter from an isolated blood sugar test. It sounds like your doctor should exam her and decide what tests are indicated and go from there. With your familiy's strong history of both type 1 and type 2 diabetes, it pays to watch for symptoms that could indicate a medical problem. But, again, let your doctor diagnose the problem.

From my experience as a Diabetic, the BG is most likely on the way to going down. Shaking can be a sign of this!
