"type 1 with all teeth rotten, getting them removed surgically is the only way. Should my health insurance cover this as a "help" for level control?"

type one, almost always with a gum infection cause i just can't seem to get them to totally clear up. getting extreamly frustrated with level control

You present a very interesting question. I do not know what your insurance carrier will cover or whether you have private or State/Federal insurance. Please have your primary doctor or your endocrinologist submit a letter of medical necessity in your behalf. If they can convince your carrier that without this surgery, you cannot control your diabetes, you may have a fighting chance. Do not give up with the first denial. Submit an appeal if first denied. Having a good relationship with your doctors is really important because they have to go to bat for you.
