Dear marie6223, If you have type 1 diabetes, do not stop taking your insulin to see how long it takes for you to get in trouble. It could be hours or 1-2 days, depending on what you eat and if your body still makes any insulin at all. The result of not taking your insulin will be DKA and potential death if not treated promptly.

to be honest awhile but you feel like shit and end up gettin really sick like she said DKA which is when your PH level of your blood turn acidic like your blood is like an acid isn't very pleasant kinda like killing yourself from the inside out
