The product manufacturer states that it is made from xylitol, blended with dextrose, maltodextrin and a very small amount of sucralose (Splenda). "Xylitol is widely distributed throughout nature in small amounts. Some of the best sources are fruits and berries. For example, one cup of raspberries contains less than one gram of Xylitol. Xylitol is natures natural sweetener.'
Xylitol is in the family of sugar alcohol. For some people, sugar alcohol can cause stomach upset if too much is eaten at any one time. How much is too much? Since each person responds differently, you would have to discover your own tolerance level with this product.
