"My face gets extremely red (between 10 and 11:30 am) every day and sometimes at random times w/extreme heat. Could the diabetes be causing this? "

on avandia, janumet, glimepiride, cymbalta, lisinipril, simvistatin, and aspirin. have diabetes type 2, fibromyalgia, and osteoarthritis. really could use help in finding what's causing the really red/burning face so I could find something to help with it.

Dear kdplake, You need to make an appointment with a good internist and find out what is causing you to turn red. There are many possible causes. You are on many medications and possibly you are having a drug/drug interaction or a drug side-effect. You may also have some type of vascular disease that makes you turn red at times. So, don't try to self-diagnose, get medical help and find out what it is and how to treat it.
