Hello vjvj5990
Weigh is a result of intake and output. There is no secret about it. The calories eaten and the calories burned determine whether you will gain weigh, lose weight or stay the same weight. I applaude your loss of 30 lbs. I wish I knew what your BMI or what your waist circumference is. If you are still attempting to lose weight and the doctor feels you are not at a healthy weight, then try to increase your activity level or try to trim some calories from your diet or both. Are you walking or doing any aerobic exercise? 30 minutes 5 times a week is recommended. If you have achieved this, but stopped losing weight, just add a few extra minutes each day. Be sure you ask to your doctor about exercise and a healthy weight for you!! We have great recipes on dLife> Have you tried any of them?

The term diabetic diet is a loose wording for some it could mean 50 carbs per meal for other 65 per meal. I have read countless stories here about dieticians instructing diabetes to eat almost 200 gr of carbs a day. Not only will that lead to high bs but most likely weight gain so test and review cut back on refined carbs mainly and eat fresh veggies and protein.
