Dear wnlew526, Nuts are a very healthy snack for a person who has diabetes. The problem is they also have a lot of calories. So, if you eat them all day, you might be getting more calories than you need. Type 2 diabetes can get worse if you gain weight. So, if you stay active and keep your weight under control, they would be a good snack to eat. Remember, portion control is the key.
