Treatment for hypotension (low blood pressure) depends on the cause of your low blood pressure. Are you taking any medicine for treating high blood pressure? If you are, then the medicine might need to be adjusted.
Typically low blood pressure can cause a person to feel weak. Be sure to drink plenty of water.
For people who have back problems with difficulty walking, water aerobics and arm chair exercises work best. Talk with your doctor about your concerns. He or she can adjust your medicine, if necessary, and recommend working with an exercise physiologist who can help you establish a safe and effective exercise program.
