Background Info Hide
Diagnosed with prediabetes Nov 2008. Fasting blood glucose started at 124. Have brought it down to 109 with walking 2x a day, exercise, yoga and low carb eating. 3 meals a day, plus healthy snacks. Weight is not an issue. Will it continue to drop if there's no more changes I can make naturally?

Dear phallberg, Thank you for writing into dLife. Most physicians would not put a person on diabetes medications if they can successfully keep their blood sugars at 109. Can you hold onto this number? Probably, if you continue to exercise and watch your diet carefully. If you are overweight, work on attaining a more desirable weight.
