"how long will it take to heal a gum graft and palatal graft site when you have diabetes, chronic fatigue and asthma?"

2 years ago, was diagnosed with periodontal disease, 4 months ago diagnosed with pre-diabetes. All bg readings are below 110.

Good blood sugar control is the key to uncomplicated healing. Be aware that just the surgery is a stress to the body and may cause blood sugars to increase. Monitor closely and report to your physician any elevations - short term medication treatment may be indicated for blood sugar control during this process. Seeing a dietician prior to surgery to discuss a modified meal plan with adequate nutrition may also be indicated, depending on the effect the surgery will have on your ability to eat your usual foods.
