"I have days when I test before meals and my BS may be 140-170. Should I wait or go ahead and take my Byetta and eat"

Age 53, dx. 1999. On byetta since Jan 2009. Last A1c 6.2. Now have my FBS between 100-130.

Dear johnkent, My advice is to take your medication as directed by your doctor. Don't wait just because your pre-meal blood sugar is 140-170. Actually, that tells me you should eat and take your medication. I don't understand why you think you should wait. Perhaps you can explain your reasoning in another question.
