The article on Splenda (sucralose) provides some negative remarks about the sweetener.
The majority of studies were done on animals for short lengths of time. The only way to be sure of the safety of sucralose is to have long-term studies on humans done.
Moderation in use of all artificial sweeteners is recommended. Each person responds differently to each of the FDA-approved sweeteners. You can monitor any symptoms you might experience during the time you are using the product.
