nothing seems to help. On doctor recommended zeasorb powder and it helped ;but now it is doing nothing to help please help This rash is under my breast and in the groin area

Dear Shundi- Thank-you for contacting dLife. My first question is have you been to a dermatologist. They can take a thin scraping of the skin and under a microscope determine the cause.

Skin rashes can be common in diabetics. THe most important advice is to use mild gentle soaps, no harsh detergents, keep all areas dry, and wear cotton clothes.

But perhaps one of the most important things is to maintain good glucose control. Rashes are often a sign that target levels of glucose are not being met.

Hang in there and be persistent with your health care provider that needs rapid attention.

Have you tryed clotrimazole cream? I have the same problem and it does not help that I'm latex sinsitive.. Every time my numembers go up the yeast rash comes back...so My dr. prescribed clotrimazole cream for me. It does seem to help.
