Dear dacsmile, Thank you for contacting dLife. I am quite concerned about your blood sugar numbers. Also I am concerned that you are losing weight. If you are unable to have glucose control using oral medications, then you should discuss the use of insulin with your doctor. Having a high blood sugar means you are not releasing the calories from many grams of carbohydrates you are eating. In essence, you eat, but are actually starving. Insulin will help get the carbohdyrates into your cells and release the calories. Hopefully this will stop your weight loss and actually help you maintain or gain weight. I encourage you to discuss this with your physician as soon as possible.
